ABOUT

Madeleine Morrill is an accomplished artist whose skills have been honed from an early age. She attended the Waterford School growing up, earning two Scholastic Silver Keys, an Honorable Mention, and a Portfolio Gold Key during her time there. She was also selected to be a part of the 43rd Annual Utah All-State High School Art Show, a show in which only 20 to 30 percent of student submissions are accepted per year.

Following her promising beginnings, she attended college at Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI) after winning the National K-12 Artistic Merit Award, Scholastic Scholarship, and the KCAI Merit Scholarship. While there, she worked towards a double-major in Art History and Illustration. She was chosen to exhibit at the Kansas City Artists Coalition (KCAC) Undergraduate College Student Exhibition.

Since starting her professional career, Maddie has participated in two group shows and a single solo show. She won the Craft Lake City Artisan Scholarship, which allowed her to display her work at an art festival for the first time. She has multiple events coming up before the end of 2019, including the Wasatch Studio Tour this October and a display at her former high school. She continues to pursue her career in the arts, hoping to continually improve and refine her talents.
