About the event
The Wasatch Studio Tour is all about giving the public insight into how and why artwork is created. It's about the artistic process and the wide variety of works that different artists can produce, working with materials from clay and ink to stone and fibers. You can learn about an artist, how they make their art, and even purchase some pieces if they strike your fancy. The Wasatch Studio Tour specifically focuses on creators native to the Salt Lake Valley, giving local artisans an opportunity to display their works and explain their methods.
For the tour, I will be displaying my drawings above the works of my former ceramics teacher, Suzanne Conine. Her website can be found HERE. There will also be artwork from someone who works with fireplaces, as well as works from a Native American basket weaver.Â
